Lower Sand Hills, Surbiton

Brief

To rejuvenate a neglected rear garden and introduce a new seating area positioned towards the back of the lawn.

Mature trees and plants already line the rear boundary, offering the potential to integrate them into a low brick wall encircling a freshly laid lawn.

To ensure a smooth transition, multiple level changes will be implemented, facilitating a seamless flow from the seating area and brick walls to a dining terrace adjacent to the house.

Outcome

Graceful curves lead to a clay paver circle, embraced by a softly tapered brick wall framing a snug seating area.

This central space acts as the garden's focal point, providing a perfect spot to admire the water feature set against a backdrop of rich evergreens.

Adjacent to the house, a reimagined dining terrace defines an inviting space for BBQs, relaxation, and entertaining guests.
