Buckingham Road, Hampton
Brief
To design a courtyard garden tailored for two adults, featuring an extensive array of plants and carefully crafted hard landscaping to establish a seamless and easily accessible path, interlinked with two primary seating zones.
The rear seating area, must be enveloped by mature shrubs, delicate trees, and climbing plants, to gently blur the boundaries.
Thoughtfully positioned plant beds and pathways will further enhance the landscape, framing captivating views visible from the house.
Outcome
The courtyard garden boasts two distinct seating zones, delineated by rich planting beds and connected by a pathway crafted from copper oak millboard.
A narrower plank pathway, enveloped by Cotswold chippings, invites exploration of the abundant plant beds and striking rock features.
Featuring an assortment of specimen shrubs and small trees with grasses nestled beneath in generously sized beds, the garden is artfully fragmented, creating a sanctuary with multiple points of interest.
